Hello!
My name is Zerremi from Houston Texas USA. A little background about myself. I spent 15yrs growing up in a town called Marrickville in Sydney Australia. We had a large Greek community in our town with a very big Greek Orthodox Church only 1 block away from home. Many of my friends were Greek and there were many Gyro shops and the Greek bakery had my favorite cookies. Then our family moved to the USA, wherein University I studied Greek History. So when the opportunity to come to Greece presented itself, I was more than excited to go.
Together with my boyfriend, Ryan, we started in Athens, touring the Acropolis and the bus tour to Delphi, and although I was amazed seeing all the ancient sites I had studied about, it was no comparison to how amazed I was when I came to Santorini!
We stayed at the Vino Houses for 5 nights from early Monday morning until our flight Saturday morning. Every part of our trip to Santorini was amazing. Even before our arrival, Yota had been keeping in contact with us thru email and arranging transport from the airport to the Vino Houses. On arrival, we were both amazed at the upstairs unit. The décor was very nicely done. The beds were very comfortable with soft linens. We enjoyed the hot tub on the terrace overlooking the garden with a view of the volcano and the town of Finikia and Oia. The daily breakfast was a great start to each day and very nicely prepared. Yota gave us excellent recommendations for activities to do. We did the Catamaran sail tour from Ammoudi Bay. It gave us a perspective of Santorini that you don’t get looking out from the top of the Caldera. The cliff sides were very inspiring and the stops at the Hot Spring, Red Beach and another bay to do snorkeling and seeing the fish was fun. The food and music were also great and it concluded with the World famous Sunset in Oia on the water where you don’t have to complete with the crowds. We also visited the Winery for the wine tasting and then walked down the road to the beach about a ½ mile down from Vino Houses. Our favorite place to eat was “Petros”. The food was unbelievable.

There are vacations but there are also vacations that you will remember for your lifetime.
This will be a memory I will enjoy for a lifetime.
